Cookie notice

This site sets zero cookies today. Here is exactly what runs, what does not yet, and what changes when it does.

The current state, plainly

We set zero cookies today. The only outbound request this site makes from any page is toPlausible, our analytics script — it is cookieless by design, writes nothing to your browser's storage, and reports aggregate numbers only (page views, referring sites). No other script, tracker, embed, or widget runs anywhere on this site.

Why there is no banner today

A consent banner exists to gate a choice. Nothing on this site today needs that choice: Plausible is cookieless and requires no consent, and we are not running any tag that does. Showing you a banner to accept or reject nothing would be its own kind of dishonesty, so we do not.

What changes when advertising arrives

Website launch comes first; advertising and paid spend are a later phase. When we add a Google Ads conversion tag, a consent banner will appear before that tag ever loads, with equal-weight Accept and Reject buttons — no dark patterns, no pre-ticked box. Your choice will be remembered in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and re-asked after 12 months.

Global Privacy Control and other opt-out signals

Today, nothing on this site sets a tracking cookie, so there is nothing for an opt-out signal like Global Privacy Control to switch off. When the consent step described above ships, it will treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an automatic opt-out, without showing you the banner at all — stated here as fact once it is true, not before.

Equal-weight choice, when there is one

Accept and Reject will be presented as equal, unticked, un-bundled buttons. Rejecting will cost you nothing on this site — every page will keep working identically either way.
